Theatre breaks in London are set to get a bit more exciting in the next year or so as there are big changes ahead. Shows coming into London include: Confirmed:

Possibles:
Lend Me A Tenor – Theatre Royal Plymouth from next week but hoping for a West End transfer next year. Betty Blue Eyes – playing the West Yorshire Playhouse in the spring with an early West End transfer likely, as it’s backed by Cameron Mackintosh! Rebecca – now likely to open in West End rather than Broadway sometime in early 2011. Sondheim on Sondheim – various rumours, including an October 2010 start (unlikely!) South Pacific – Broadway production transfer – no theatre yet – summer 2011? Chess – Current UK Tour hopes to find a theatre – summer 2011? Follies – possible production at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, after Sweet Charity? Maybe?
Which ones do you fancy? I’m looking forward most to Ghost and South Pacific but they all look good. Exciting times ahead!
